Course Description: This course is an continuation of Defensive Handgun II. This course covers basic footwork fundamentals, fighting principles and the proper draw stroke necessary for defensive pistol craft. Most instructors agree that one of the most important, common sense tactics in defensive pistol craft is movement. You can't move properly if you haven't practiced proper footwork. Much like in martial arts or many sports, footwork is one of the first concepts taught. How important is this in defensive shooting? We believe it is so important, it's the first thing we cover. We'll be compounding the stress in this class. By the end of the course you'll be moving away from the threat while drawing the gun from your hip holster. You'll also be shooting and reloading your gun while moving away and laterally from the threat. Topics Covered:
